[INVITATION] PSITE R10 will hold a webinar titled Security in the Age of AI via Cisco Webex

We are inviting PSITE R10 members and non-members to join us in this webinar.

The digital world is evolving at an unprecedented pace, and with the rise of Artificial Intelligence, so are the threats to our data and privacy. Are you prepared to face the new generation of cyberattacks?

Join us for a compelling webinar, Security in the Age of AI, where we will explore the dual role of AI as both a powerful defense mechanism and a new weapon in the hands of cybercriminals.

The Alarming Reality

The Philippines is on the front lines of the global cybersecurity battle. The statistics are a wake-up call:

  • Over 80% of Philippine organizations experienced a cybersecurity breach in 2024, with some facing an average of three incidents.
  • In the first half of 2024, Viettel Cyber Security recorded over 315,000 compromised credentials in the Philippines.
  • Across the world, cybercrime costs are projected to escalate from $3 trillion in 2015 to an astonishing $10.5 trillion annually by 2025.

These figures are not just numbers; they represent real financial losses, operational disruptions, and the erosion of trust. As cyberattacks become more sophisticated, leveraging AI for social engineering, automated malware, and advanced phishing campaigns, traditional security measures are no longer enough.

Why This Webinar is Crucial

The integration of AI into our daily lives and professional systems has created a new landscape of both opportunity and risk. This webinar is vital because:

  • It’s not just an IT problem. Cybersecurity is a shared responsibility. Whether you are a business leader, an IT professional, or an end-user, this webinar will equip you with the knowledge to protect yourself and your organization in the AI-driven digital age.

Our speaker is a COMPTIA Security+ IT professional. He is a certified penetration tester. He also has an ITIL certification.
